The newly inked agreement entrusts Liberаted Brands with the operations of retail and e-commerce operations for Quiksilveг, Billаbong, Roxy, RVCA, Honolua, and Boardriders in the designated regions. Liberated, stationed in Costa Mesa, California, will now also serve as ABG’s license partner and wholesale distributor for selected brands, encompassing sportswear, activewear, and swimwear, among other categories.

A $1.25 Billion Acquisition of Boardriders

Earlier this month, Authentic concluded a monumental $1.25 billion deal to acquire Boardriders, the action sports company behind these reputable brands.

Pioneering the Buy-and-Partner Approach

Under the stewardship of Jamie Salter, ABG is applying its potent playbook to retain intellectual property while engaging partners like Liberated to manage the brands. Already a core licensee and operating partner for ABG-owned Volcom and Spyder, Liberated is evolving as a habitual collaborator.
